Minority shareholder was the only on farm working, original shareholder who forwent his wages and paid land taxes and professional fees to keep from losing the land. 3rd generation shareholders recently fired him, transferred the farm bank account and the money earned from this years profits. This man is my father. He is 92 and the unthinkable has been done to him. These majority shareholders (his deceased siblings children) are planning to sell the land in the scorp. The farm corp has no other assets. I am also afraid they may try to transfer land in to another company to get my dads 22.5%

My question is more of what are homeowner protection options in the state of florida for the below example:
Company A is performing electric work at my house, and damages my sidewalk. Company A then hires Company B to repair it, and pays Company B in full. Company B subcontracts out materials to Company C through a verbal contract, but cancels with them due to monetary reasons and instead verbally subcontracts out Company D for materials and completion of the work. Company C is now filing a notice to owner for cost of unpaid materials that were ready before everything was canceled with them. What can the homeowner to protect against the lien claim?

KentuckyOur company is from Missouri we were hired to be a subcontractor on a job in Utah. We have completed the job on 9/11/21 payment was to be made 10 days after completion. Do we have any right to put a lien on the property in Utah? We did not file any Notices with the state at anytime.
UtahMy husband & I are buying a house & the person selling it to us has his homes remodeled for banking purposes. His contractor had us do certain work & buy certain materials & promised reimbursement & payment for labor. Once the seller did the final walkthrough the contractor said he wasn't paying us. I hired and paid my general contractor for the service on my primary home. The general contractor hired a sub-contractor to perform the job but did not pay the sub. Now the sub is threatening to sue the general contract AND put a lien on my home (primary owner-occupied residence).
Under the described circumstances, can the sub put a lien on my home?
