What statement should I list on my Invoice to make sure I can file a lien?

MissouriMechanics Lien
Anonymous Contractor

It is my understanding that in the State of Missouri, unless a specific statement is listed on the Invoice, we can not file a lien against the property involved in non-payment of services.

I'm not aware of any specific language that must appear on a Missouri invoice in order to preserve the right to lien. Certainly, there are some notice requirements that must be followed in order to preserve the right to lien in Missouri. But, in terms of an invoice, itself - I'm not aware of any language or other requirement that must appear on invoices to preserve lien rights. For more clarity on what is required to preserve Missouri mechanics lien rights, the resources below should provide a lot of helpful information.
