What happens if you fail a portion of the licensing test? Would you need to retake it?

Hello my husband passed the first part of the test a couple of years ago. He failed the accounting part can he just take that part over if it has been more than 5 years. Sharyn

Generally, if a candidate passes some portions of the licensing exam but fails others - they'll only need to retake the portions of the exam that they failed. However, it appears that exam scores are only valid for 4 years - so, if a portion was passed more than 4 years ago, that portion would likely need to be retaken. Admittedly, though, I'm no expert on the ins and outs of Florida's contractor licensing requirements. And, a service like Licenses, etc. might be able to provide more help in that department.
