Under New York's lien laws, a Notice of Intent to Lien isn't a required step before filing a claim. Although sending one is highly recommended as a last measure before paying to have a lien filed.

However, if you want to skip straight to filing the claim, you should be able to do so. If you're still experiencing difficulties you can reach out to the Levelset Customer Support team by phone or through live chat for help.

Good luck!
