I filed the notice today march 27,2023 but the project was started last year in april. does the notice to owner have any affect because it was filed more than 45 days after start of project?
A Notice to Owner must be served on the Owner with 45 days of you starting on the project. If you’ve been working on the project for more than 45 days, you have missed the deadline. If you have a contract directly with the Owner, you do not need to serve an NTO.
