HOW DO I RELEASE A LIEN THAT HAS BEEN SETTLED
VirginiaMy customer and I came to an agreement and the owed has been resolved. How do I go about releasing my customer from the lien?

You would record a lien release in the same jurisdiction where you recorded the lien. There should be a form online or the clerks office can help.
