Fla. Stat. § 713.13(5)(a) specifically allows for the amendment of a Notice of Commencement (or "NoC"). According to that section, amending a Notice of Commencement in Florida should require essentially the same process as filing the original NoC.
An amended Notice of Commencement should also reference the original Notice of Commencement filing, and notice that the NoC was amended must be given to every party who has sent a Notice to Owner prior to its amendment or sends one within 30 days of amending the Notice of Commencement. But, other than that, there isn't that much relevant guidance on how to file an amended NoC.
