Yes. The Alabama Licensing Board for General Contractors provides reciprocity for the following states: Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee. However, you must have held a license for 3 consecutive years under a similar classification, and still be in good standing. You will need to submit an Application as well as an Out of State License Verification form. The trade portion of the exam will be waived, but applicants will still be required to take the business portion of the exam.
