I have received a letter from my client, whom I have placed a lien against, stating that I need to remove the lien due to breach of contract. What should I do?
This is a pretty fact-dependent question. If the lien is valid, and you aren't in breach, then either ignore the letter or proceed to foreclosure. If you lien is invalid due to a contract breach, try to negotiate payment.
