How do I search for a lein against a propery owner initiaged by the HOA board for his association?

Go to the County Recorder's website and search the name of the owner of the real property and any encumberance on the property should be listed.

In Ohio, an HOA lien is recorded with the Recorder's Office in the County where the property is located. Most counties have an online search tool where you can input the property address to identify any liens on the property.
