I have employees that where fired for cause trying to file mechanics lien against one of my rigs by using a license plate number

If you're referring to a mechanics lien claim for construction-related work, which attaches to the project property, and not to personal property like a truck or other equipment, then yes - employees are generally entitled to file Colorado mechanics lien as laborers. If you're referring to a lien against movable property, like a truck or piece of equipment, then, unfortunately, I'm afraid that I don't have experience in that area - and a site like Avvo or JustAnswer might provide a little more insight there.
