I missed my 20 day deadline, what can i do in order to file a lien or enusre payment?
ArizonaI am a homeowner in Phoenix that recently had a new pool installed and completed in March of 2021. It is still under warranty. Although we went through reviews of the pool company that did the install prior to signing the contract (which were all very good), it now appears that most of the reviews over the last year are horrible, specifically around issues with the construction and never-ending challenges with getting the pool company to inspect and repair. I just called and emailed the pool company but have yet to speak with anyone from the pool company. Since this is a new pool and so many people have had issues getting a resolution for the issues they're facing, should we be working with a construction attorney sooner than later?
ArizonaWhy would the GC we are working for request a $10 amount on all unconditional waivers from my suppliers? They have already been given conditional waivers from us and my vendors.

ArizonaAs a general contractor, we have a subcontract with Why Hospitality. It has just come to our attention that Why Hospitality is suing the owner of the property. At this time, we have retention due to us. Our last known time on the property was October 2018. What are our next steps to obtain retention on this property? Do we have any recourse to pursue it? ArizonaMy name is Mark Hall, and I am the general manager for G&C Door. I also have my own license and do door installs under Hallmark Carpentry. I have one contractor who is slow pay and I generally get paid after the house closes. The contractor is getting large in his building starts. I have currently been doing the 20 day premin and have started filing liens of the jobs.
My question: is it ok to pay the materials that I purchase from G&C Door with my credit card, and still have all my lien rights protected for each unpaid job from the contractor? The lien says its coming from Hallmark Carpentry LLC.
Arizona I own a cleaning service and recently finished a construction cleaning on a hotel. After sending the pay app I received an email letting me know that the construction company couldn't pay the invoice because they haven't received payment from the owner. The construction company is now suing the owner for breach of contract.
ArizonaI have a company that cleans tile and grout. I did a job for a customer. She claims that I damaged her baseboards in her house. I directed her to my insurance. They informed me that it would be easier to pay the small claim then to fight it. They paid her claim $2551.00. She claims it costs her more than that to do repairs. She now tells me she won’t pay me the $620.00 she owes for the tile I cleaned.
ArizonaMy father was the sole owner of our company, now owned by myself and my 2 brothers. He signed a contract back in March of this year when we had plenty of employees to complete the work. The amount the project was bid for has drastically increased with the price inflation in the construction industry and the sub we had planned to sub the curb work out to has had to move on with commitments on other projects because this particular project keeps getting pushed by the owner from my understanding. I notified the GC already and they said we are responsible either we can find another sub or else we will incur the premium pricing it will cost for them to find someone else.

ArizonaI am a HVAC contractor working on a new custom residential house. My portion of the work is about 99% complete. The home owner promised to pay me additional progress payment when the cooling portion was completed. When I told him to pay me the progress payment as promised before any additional work, he said I am fired.

ArizonaCan a GC contact a subcontractors supplier and ask about account information? We have a GC that owes us a lot of money, they contacted our material supplier and asked what was owed on our account. Seems extremely unethical.
