In my situation, I had been living on the property for 2 months while completing all the tasks I was hired for...I have a glass company out of Las Vegas but helping a friend of mine on his job in California...starting with windows but ended up being interior paint and flooring as well.Im not sure if the Gen Contractor has a licence but I do not...we had a verbal agreement and he's paid $5000 so far but asked me to move out when I requested respiratory equipment when asked to remove a LARGE amount of rat feces throughout the house...now he is refusing to pay the balance of $7200. Is filing a NOI on this million $ property going to help me at all? If not what should I do?
