Good afternoon. I worked on a remodeling of two houses, the contractor requested my work through a person who works with him, at the end of the contractor he paid me that was agreed at that time, later he asked me to paint the exterior of the house and the trim, Soffit installation, a demolition and other things. Now the contractor says that he did not hire me directly. I have photos where I paint the property and text messages requesting that I start working on another property to start other jobs. I have a painter's license. The owner of the house is aware that I have not been paid. My question is, can I act legally on the properties where I work, two weeks have passed and I have received no intention from either party.
