What are the steps to lien a PwC that's from Washington and my shop is in Oregon.

I've got $675 IN parts and $800 in labor working on a seadoo (waverunner). I've sent certified letter stating I was going to lien this, posted it at the court house, and not sure what to do next since it's from Washington but it's way different than doing a vehicle. Not sure of the steps to continue from here

I'm sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately, this is a bit beyond my area of expertise. Here at the Ask an Expert Center, we regularly discuss topics pertaining to construction payment - including the ability to file a mechanics lien. However, payment disputes in non-construction contexts and liens other than typical construction liens are a bit out of our purview.

There are some other free resources available online that might be more helpful, though. Specifically, both Avvo.com and JustAnwser.com have lawyers available from all different practice areas - and they might be able to provide some insight here.
