To file a claim of lien in Florida that is jointly owned do both Owners names need to appear on the lien or one

FloridaMechanics Lien
Anonymous Contractor

I’m a Florida contractor that has completed a project and not received final payment I wish to file a claim of lien against the property… The property has joint ownership Which I believe is her minor daughter do I need to put both names on the lien or just the person I contracted with?

Yes. The statutory form has a place for the person(s) you contracted with and then a place for the owners. You can find the deed in the public records, so I would list all people on the deed on the lien. Contact an attorney if you have questions about the content of the lien. Liens are important to have done correctly.
