Requirement for Residential Electrical License

FloridaLicenses
Anonymous Contractor

Good morning, I currently hold an Electrical Contractor/Supervising Electrical License in City of Chicago. I have been licensed for over 30 years continuously in Chicago. What steps do I need to take to obtain a Residential Electrical License in Florida?

Check out https://hammerngavel.com/licensing-for-nonflorida-contractors for a summary of the requirements. Generally though, if you've had that license for 10 years and otherwise meet the credit and background requirements for Florida, you can obtain the same type of license without taking a test.
