I am a licensed home inspector in Alabama. I have been asked by a lot of real estate agents if I do handyman work, because we are missing a ton of those people around here. I do, but I stay so busy, that I can’t. I was wondering if I could start a business that did nothing but contract work out for anything. Say an agent reaches out and says hey, I have plumbing, electrical and HVAC stuff I need repaired at a house that got inspected today. Can I sub all that work out to individuals who are licensed in those areas through a business that is not licensed in those areas. I don’t plan on get my license for anything else, but wondering if I could provide jobs for those who are licensed and make some extra money while doing it.
