what kind of License does a plumber need to work in the state of Maryland? also, what does he need if working for a GC?

Maryland has three different licenses for plumbers: apprentice, journeyman, and master. The Maryland Department of Labor website would have information on the requirements for each. When working under a GC, it would likely be beneficial to have insurance, a separate business entity set up, and a contract between your company and the GC.
