My A/C wasn't working I call a contractor to take CARE of the A/C he said we need a new A/C which he replace after three days the A/C stop working I called him he sent a none licence technician. the technician call me after very short time requesting to get paid for $120.00 he said he cleared drain line and adjust float switch. the contract I sign for the service INCLUDE one year free service I told him I will call THE BUSINESS owner to discussed the payment. when I called him he said what was done it's not related to the A/C. I told him this job should be done before you asked to get new A/C and I didn't pay him. now I find out after three years there is a notice on my property record it says -this is not a lien this is only an affidavit claiming a lien. now what do I need to do. I don't know if it's lien or not please give me advice. THANKS

That is a lien against your property in the common way of looking at it. It will cloud title in the event you want to transfer the property or refinance.
You have a couple of options: Contact the contractor and get it paid in return for a lien release or sue the contractor to have the lien removed as invalid because it does not seem like you were given the proper notices of intent to lien.
