We were terminated on our MSA with a general for convenience, the owner had another company he wanted to do the work. We are halfway through the project located on a mountain in a ski resort. We were the excavation company for this project. We have been installing large retaining walls, utility lines, and foundations for a condo project. We have been asked to refund the portion of the deposit we are still holding. Is there any way to protect us from any further warranties on this job since we did not get to finish it? Should we remove this general contractor as an additional insured from the day we left the job from our insurance? Or do we leave them as additional insured?
