An Arizona mechanics lien will expire 6 months after it's filed. If a lawsuit isn't initiated within 6 months after the lien is filed, the lien will expire and no longer be valid or enforceable.

During that timeframe, there are steps that can be taken for push for payment, as Levelset discusses here: The 4 Steps to Take After Filing a Mechanics Lien. For more information on Arizona mechanics liens: Arizona Mechanics Lien Guide and FAQs.
