Can a contractor building a bank hire a self employed worker who doesn’t have insurance or a license

It's common for a contractor to hire laborers who aren't individually insured or licensed. Of course, typically, that should be for unskilled labor at the job site. And, an individual that's performing a trade that traditionally requires a license must be licensed to perform that work. Admittedly, though, I'm no expert on Ohio's licensing requirements. So, for the most clarity, it might be helpful to seek out an Ohio construction attorney who's knowledgeable about the state's licensing requirements - such as Graff & McGovern.
