We are a commercial flooring subcontractor that works in various states. Our company is looking for a service that would confirm whether or not a particular state where we have a project would require us to secure a contractor license to do work there, and if so, provide the processing of, or at least assistance with attaining that license. My understanding is that, as a commercial flooring subcontractor, we are required to have a state contractors license in certain states. While we are located in Illinois, this question is for ANY state.
