NY now requires additional disclosure language in a mechanic's lien. Which disclosure fits which property?

Under NY Lien Law §9(7), the claim of lien must indicate whether the property being improved (or to be improved) is a single-family dwelling or not. The term "single-family dwelling" is defined by NY law as "a building designed for and occupied exclusively by one family." The reason this needs to be included in the claim of lien is that the deadline to file a lien in New York changes if it is a single-family dwelling. The typical deadline to file is 8 months from the last furnishing of labor or materials, but the deadline to file a single-family dwelling lien is 4 months from last furnishing, You may find this article useful: How to File a NY MEchanics Lien | A Step-by-Step Guide
