I just filed a mechanism lien, but I did not do the intent to lien before is that a problem?

If you were a subcontractor on the job as the title suggests, you would need to give notice of intent to file a lien prior to filing. Happy to assist you with the situation if needed. 504-323-5885.

In Alabama you must send the notice of intent to lien before filing a lien. However, it may not be too late to do so and even if it is, you would have contract remedies against the person/entity who hired you. Please advise if you have any questions regarding the same.
