Hello! Simply execute an Unconditional Waiver and Release on Final Payment. You may either file it in the same place that you filed the original lien or provide a copy to the property owner for them to take care of. Levelset has a template that comes straight from the statute or you can find another source on the internet for a blank copy. E. Aaron Cartwright III 214-789-1354 Aaron@EACLawyer.com

Hello, Once a lien is filed it will always be in the real property records, the way to extinguish a lien is with a recorded release of the lien. The release should list the file number of the lien that is being released. Karalynn Cromeens Managing Partner 8431 Katy Freeway Houston, TX 77024 Tel: (713) 715-7334 www.TheCromeensLawFirm.com
