Do contractors in the USA have any bond or claim rights if shipping to Jamaica?

Shipping to Jamaica and want to know if I need to send notices/how to protect my rights.

That's a fair question. However, the mechanics lien rights of the project location will apply - thus, the laws of Jamaica would dictate whether any lien rights might exist on a project located there. Considering bonds are based on contract law (and thus a little more universal), bond claim rights might be more likely to be present. Of course, a bond claim can only be made if a bond is present - whether that be as a result of Jamaican law or through agreement of the parties involved in the project.
