Can my SC can invoice me every single job? It's not required in the contract

I had my WC audit and COI this year and the auditor is asking me the " Waiver of WC" which I have it and is asking me too for their invoices at least 7 each, I don't have invoices from them, I just pay them every job and give 1099 the end of the year, how true is from the auditor to request me that information cause he said, SC will count as an employee and I have to pay the WC for them?

Your question is a bit too disjointed for me to really understand what you are asking, but it sounds like there is an underlying question regarding whether you are liable for worker's compensation insurance coverage for your subcontractors. The short answer to that is that if your subcontractors did not carry their own worker's compensation insurance, then yes, you could be found liable for the necessary coverage in an audit.
