I have been providing lawn maintenance on a residential property for years. Owner does no pay fully when billed. Owner agreed to pay $300 each month for old balance and pay for any new charges. Owner hasn’t complied and is now selling the property. How can I make sure I get paid what I am owed?
The answer is, it depends. It is probably worth your while to record a mechanic's lien because it will jam up the sale of the property and force them to address the bill. How much are you owed?
