as a construction company in Texas, is it typical to require a welding gas supplier to submit a lien waiver when submitting invoices. The welding gas company does not want to sumbit a lien waiver because they claim it is not typical.

Hi, It is typical in Texas to request lien waivers from all parties performing work or supplying material on a project who could potentially lien. All a lien waiver is saying is "I have been paid what was agreed for this job." If they don't want to sign a lien waiver and you don't want to waste too much time, get something in writing that shows they have received payment in full for their work. Send a text message asking if the check for the full payment cleared (or something like it). This method isn't as formal as a lien waiver and doesn't have the same impact but, in the event of something happening, it can serve as potential evidence that they have been paid for their work. E.
