A person that did work for me with no signed contract is threatening to put a lien on my house but they have not finished the job

I have not one dime to give to an attorney with all I am paying on my home and the next door propert.
I now have to roof the next door home because the chimney fell off in a wind storm and stuck the chimney in the lower roof andmade a giant hole in the lower roof.
I have to patch it up... or my property value will plummett !

OhioI was a tenant with a lease with the option to buy contract with the original owner of a property which was sold to a 3rd party at a franklin County Ohio sheriff sale without my knowledge after I had completed renovations of the property. I filed liens against the original owner, the foreclosing bank, and the 3rd party sheriff sale buyer.
I was sued by the 3rd party buyer for fraud, based on the standard language/statement on the lien affidavit that I had a contract with the 3rd party. I lost on the summary judgement pleadings, on the fraud claim. Should I appeal the ruling?
OhioI may have to file a lis pendens for a Claim of Lien filed. Is it the same as filing a lawsuit or does a lawsuit have to be filed as well? I just want to cover all bases in case our Claim of Lien is contested.

Homeowners want to make a payment of $1400 when the mechanics lean is double that. What should I do?

FloridaI have done work at a property, got paid for my work then had the money taken back by the payee saying I didn't do what I was contracted to do. I did what was contracted out and more. Spent 24 hours at the house that was only supposed to be 6-8 and then had the money taken back. So far I have sent in a notice to owner to the owners of the house and the interior designer that hired me. I have then turned in the paperwork to place a lien on the property and have recieved back the processed paperwork. Still no payment has been made and no communication from designer or home owners. What is my next step A little over $1,000 is owed and no one seems to care. I need to get my money back from them...how?
