Modified Lien Filing by contractor to Homeowner who file to contest the lein. How long is it good for, Another sixty days? or shorter. What steps should the home- property owners take to discharge a false lien. The Plumber lawyer always wait to the very last minute to send the notice certified giving me little time to respond.

Your question is not clear, but if you have received a notice recorded in the public records that your lien is being contested then you have 60 days from the date it was mailed to you to file suit on the lien or it will be discharged and unenforceable without anything further happening. There are no extensions.
