Why do you need the Bob amount snd is the Registration number the same as the State Licensing number?

Im creating a Notice for work in WA and it asked for a State Registration Number and Bond Amount. I have never been asked that before and this was not optional. 1. Why di you need the Bond # and 2. Is the Registration Number the same as the State Licensing Number?

Yes, the registration number is the same as the license number. And I guess the bond amount is needed so they can determine if you are a specialty contractor or general contractor.
