The person that I filed a lien against says that he can pay and he wants to know when I release the lien how long it takes for the closing companies to get the lien release so that he can sell the house
Afternoon Brian, you could get the lien release filed and stamped by the county clerk and just give them a copy of that. Typically that is all they need for verification.
The customer paid me before the lien expired and now that it has expired do I need to get it released or is it no longer stopping him from selling the house I'm just wondering what else I need to do
