When filing a mechanics lien. Does the completion of work refer to our work or completion of full project?

ColoradoMechanics Lien

We are a drywall subcontractor and have completed 100% service of the drywall contract for a residential project. But we have not been paid the full amount of the contract. All attempts to receive payment have been unsuccessful. We are looking to move forward with a mechanics lien.

If you are asking when you must file a lien, for all work other than by labor or work by day or piece, the lien must be filed before four months have passed from the day your last labor was performed or when you last last furnished material at the site. You must account for the time for the notice of intent to lien in that period.
