What should I do next if I filed a mechanics lien in March and still no payment?

I have filed a mechanics lien in Washington state 8 months ago and still not getting paid. What should I do next?

1. You should have mailed it to the reputed owner within 14 days by certified mail. If you do not do so, the lien is still valid, but there is no grounds to recover attorney fees. 2. Within 8 months, if you choose to pursue a foreclosure action, you need to file suit. If you are past 8 months, then you can still sue for breach of contract, but cannot move to foreclose on the lien.
