You need a notice of Mechanics lien, the from must meet all of the statutory requirements, and must be served upon the home owner by certified mail, and filed with the county clerk. An affidavit of service of the notice of lien, must also be filed with the county clerk.

Paper work:

1. Lien release form from the owner of the property.

2. A copy of the lien holder’s driver’s license or government-issued ID card.

3. A copy of the lien holder’s most recent tax return and a copy of the lien holder's most recent bank statement and a copy of the lien holder's most recent pay stub, if available.

4. If applicable, a declaration that the person signing is authorized to sign on behalf of a corporation or limited liability company (LLC).

You can always contact the IvoryResearch company, whe re they will help you complete all the necessary documents.

Verify eligibility: Make sure you have the legal right to file a lien. In many cases, this requires providing labor, materials, or services to the property with a valid contract or agreement. Check deadlines: Different jurisdictions have specific time limits for filing a lien after completing the work or providing the services. Be sure to adhere to these deadlines to protect your rights. Communicate with the property owner: Before filing a lien, try to resolve any payment issues directly with the property owner. Sometimes, communication can resolve the matter without resorting to legal action. File a preliminary notice: In some states, you may need to file a preliminary notice or notice of intent to lien before filing the actual lien. This notice informs the property owner and other parties that you have a right to file a lien if payment issues are not resolved.
