We submitted all our invoices into their payment system but have had nothing but problems getting the invoices paid. Most of our invoices are from the summer of 2018 and were prior to the Chapter 11 filing. We're now being advised that they're unable to pay anyone against the bankruptcy judge and we have to file a proof of claim.

I'm sorry to hear you're caught up in the PG&E debacle - it's a mess, and lots of other companies seem to be in the same boat. Since zlien is not a law firm, we are unable to help draft claims. However, there are some resources available online that might be helpful here. Avvo and Lawyers.com both provide the opportunity to ask legal questions on a variety of subjects (including bankruptcy) and receive answers on the subject. Plus, they connect individuals and businesses with lawyers in the desired practice area and location. Further, they make it easy to evaluate prospective lawyers based on reviews of former clients. Further, these two resources seem to provide helpful information for California creditors in bankruptcy scenarios: (1) FAQ for Creditors In Bankruptcy Cases (by BankruptcyInBrief.com); and (2) Filling Out and Filing a Proof of Claim (a video from the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California).
