I work in Monterey county and I provide a variety of services for homeowners, small and midsized contractors. They use my services on a as needed basis, simply because they cannot afford my services full time, their margins will not allow it. The presentation as I understand it, is directed at subcontractors. The talk was thorough and informative. The law and fillings are of the same ilk. For the businesses that I work with it seems that they cannot provide the capital or time to engage this legal process. My point is what does a legal process like this cost, how much time should a subcontractor expect for this action to conclude and the plaintiff to be paid? Is there a breakeven point calculation that would help them decide the value of the endeavor? thanks for your time and consideration.
