non disclosure agreement

Georgia
Anonymous Subcontractor

I worked on a project with a Contractor that asked for us to sign a non disclosure agreement. They have not paid me, and now I have to file a lien. What can be done in this situation, as the NDA stated that I cannot disclose the end users name.

You should have an attorney review the nondisclosure agreement to determine the scope, whether it applies to your situation and the filing of a lien, and what the remedies would be if you violated the agreement. It should not prevent you from pursuing your remedies for nonpayment.

The identity of the Owner of the Property is already a matter of public record. The only information you would have to disclose is the name of the general contractor and the Property owner. That should not violate your NDA. If you need a lawyer, give me a call. Josh Stone. Firm is Stone & Bellus, P.C. Phone number is 770-390-9950. Thanks.
