We are a masonry company and were doing residential brick work for the owner. The owner already had the brick and mortar color on site. We basically supplied labor. We ran out of the mortar color so he had to order more. We were gone from the job for 2 weeks until he secured more mortar color to complete. We were in the midst of another job and said we would be back in a week in a half. He all of a sudden sent a text to the owner saying he was not happy with the work and that he had placed our equipment at the end of his driveway. First time we had heard any dissatisfaction in a 3 week period? Does the day we picked up our equipment and notified we were being kicked off the job constitute our last day worked for a mechanics lien?
