Mechanics lien


How long after a project is complete and Customer still has not paid can I file a mechanics lien on The customers personal property in Kansas

Generally, in Kansas, if the project was work on the personal property, then a lien must be filed within 90 days after parting with possession of the personal property or, if never in possession of the personal property, 90 days after the last work was preformed or material furnished. See K.S.A. 58-201.
