We had Levelset file a mechanic's lien on our customer in California for non payment and they sent the lien to the county to record it. A copy of the lien was sent certified to the owner of the property and was left at the property with no signature sent back to Levelset. They are going to resend the document out to try to get a signature again but my question is is it required for us to have received a signature or was it sufficient to just have the documented certified mail receipt? thanks
