My son had a huge dead tree fall into the neighbors yard. We did not know that it was dead. She stated that pulled wires came down and that her tenets were left without power. My son was at work at the time. She took it upon herself to hire electrician and workers to remove tree branches from her yard. A month later she sent me a bill. My son contacted his insurance company. It has been a difficult and lengthy process . The insurance company has been dragging their heels but are working to resolve this matter. The home owner keeps threatening my son, that if payment of $5,000 is paid my tomorrow morning, that she will place a Lien on his house. Can she do this? And or does she have just cause?.
