I filed a Mechanics Lien of April this year. The lien was notarized and sent to the homeowners. Since than, I have heard nothing from the homeowner or anyone. Can someone tell me what is the best next steps in recovering what's owed to me?

You sue them. Send your demand letter and, if they do not respond to you, sue them.
You are going to want to contact a Construction Attorney to take a look at the circumstances to find out if you completed everything correctly from contract to lien and demand to put you in the best position to succeed.
