You have 90 days from the date of recordation in which to file a lawsuit to enforce your lien. If you do not file a lawsuit within that timeframe, your lien is no longer enforceable. I suggest you contact a lawyer to assist you as soon as possible. If you are in Northern California, I may be able to assist you.

Can I tell by looking at the lien paperwork sent to me by the contractor what county it was filed in?
