A bonding company has filed an interpleader action and I am one of the multiple (5 so far) defendants in that action. You said that I need to file a timely answer to the interpleader action with the Court. Since the bond is small and is not even enough to cover a single claim, I'm trying to find out if hiring a lawyer or participating in the claim is practical. The bond company also said we could do Stipulation and order in lieu of Interpleader complain. Is there a charge too for preparing Stipulation and order or the bond company lawyer will do that for all the claimants?
