I’m an automotive technician and I put a motor in a guys truck and the guy died while the truck was at my shop. I never received payment and the son reported the truck stolen because I wouldn’t release the truck to him unless he paid me for the service I provided. It’s been a few months now and I still haven’t received payment or even heard from my customers son or family. What are my options I’d sell the truck to make the money back but I can’t with it reported stolen.
