How can a lien be release from a property?

Florida

I have an existing lien on a property that was established through levelset. However the lien needs to be removed because we have been paid in full.

See the form waiver and release of lien upon final payment in section 713.20(5), Florida Statutes. Simply add the lien recording date and instrument number or the Official Records Book and Page numbers and a notary (use the notary information on the lien as a form). Then ask the lienor to sign the lien before a notary public. You can then record the waiver at your county court clerk's office. If you don't want to do all of that you can simply wait a year and the lien expires as a matter of law.

If you have been paid in full, you should prepare a Satisfaction of Claim of Lien and have it recorded. A Notice-to-Owner service may be able to prepare one for you.
